Contestants meticulously train to build muscle mass, definition, and symmetry, emphasizing both strength and aesthetics. These competitions provide a platform for participants to exhibit their hard work and dedication, engaging in intricate posing routines that highlight their muscular development. Around 50-60 contestants from Thane, Mumbai and suburbs participate in this event every year showing their rigor and zeal.
Shree Mavli Mandal, also traditionally known as Vyayam shala (Gym) has produced notable bodybuilders who have achieved recognition at the national and international levels.
